A joint security force seized a vehicle loaded with a quantity of unlicensed medicines, northeast of Baquba, Diyala Governorate Center.
The official Spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, Brigadier General Nihad al-Mahdawi, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “A joint force from the Ninth Diyala Emergency Regiment and the Anti-Organized Crime and Rapid Response Department seized a small vehicle loaded with an amount of medicine without official approvals at Mahrut’s inspection checkpoint within the sector of Muqdadiyah, northeast of Baquba.
He added, “Legal measures have been taken against the driver, with the seized materials confiscated and handed over them to the Organized Crime Control Department.”
