Abdel Samad met a delegation from the International Spot Shot Films Festival: Lebanon’s image reflects culture and art

The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, received a delegation from the International Spot Shot Films Festival, which will be held in Beirut on September 24 in its first edition.

 

The head of the delegation, Bilal Khreis, explained that “the festival, which has a cultural, artistic and international character, will be entitled “From my heart, peace to Beirut,” and 120 Arab and foreign countries will participate in it, with 2,605 short films.” He asked the Minister of Information “to include the festival with her sponsorship and media support,” and pointed out that the event was scheduled before the August 4, 2020 explosion.

 

For her part, the Minister of Information welcomed the delegation and praised their efforts, especially since they are voluntary. She considered that “the festival reflects the beautiful and luminous image of Lebanon, Lebanon’s culture and art,” stressing that she has the honor of sponsoring it.

 

She stressed the importance of attracting foreign companies to work in Lebanon, where the cultural climate is conducive to high-level artistic and media works.

 

The delegation included: Director General of the Festival Bilal Khreis, Deputy Director General Randali Kodeih, Executive Director Ali Kalash, Director of Executive Operations Hadi Al-Hajjar, Director of Public Relations Saad Hamdan, Head of the Accreditation Team Nidal Abdel Khaleq, and the media personality Hana Al-Hajj.
