Abi Ramia from Diman: We want president enjoying Christian power, opportunity available

MP Simon Abi Ramia said that Bloc of Reform and Change’s refusal to participate in parliamentary sessions devoted to elect a president for the republic, stemmed from the need for a strong president enjoying a big Christian strength, especially after the fresh reconciliation between Lebanese Forces (LF) and Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) that formed a true, still standing opportunity in this regard.

Abi Ramia’s stance came Friday from Diman as he visited Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rahi and discussed with him developments.

Amongst Rahi’s visitors had been head of Industry and Trade Chamber in Lebanon Mohammad Choukair, Maronite Archbishop Boulos Matar, and others.
