Areiji: Family alliances can’t be separated from politics

Culture Minister Raymond Areiji said on Tuesday that “family alliances can’t be separated from politics”.

The minister confirmed that consensus has been reached in most of the villages in Zgharta.

On the other hand, Areiji denied any near meeting between Marada leader, Sleiman Franjieh and Change and Reform bloc leader Deputy Michel Aoun.

The minister hoped that the joint parliamentary committees would reach consensus over two or three drafts regarding the proposed electoral draft-laws.

He told the “Voice of Lebanon” radio that Marada bloc would be open to any discussion regarding the electoral draft-law.
