House Speaker, Nabih Berri, chaired this Friday at his Ain al-Tineh residence, the meeting of the Parliament Bureau, attended by Vice Speaker Elie Firzli, and MPs Marwan Hamadeh, Alan Aoun, Michel Moussa and Agop Pakradonian.

On emerging, Firzli deemed the speech delivered by Speaker Berri this morning as distinguished, considering it a roadmap towards building the civil state and establishing the Senate as stipulated by the Lebanese constitution.

Firzli also indicated that the Speaker has set Thursday as a date for the forthcoming general parliamentary session to discuss draft laws and law proposals on its agenda.

This afternoon, Berri met with Prime Minister, Dr. Hassan Diab, at his Ain El Tineh residence, with whom he discussed the general situation and most recent political developments in the country.
