NNA – Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday told the lawmakers during their weekly meeting that there couldn’t be any military solution to the crisis in Yemen, highlighting the necessity of dialogue and political solution.
“There are many options in this regard and many countries like Oman that can host talks,” he said.
“What is important is dialogue and not where it is held,” he corroborated.
Today’s meeting featured high on the latest developments on the regional scene, in addition to the current domestic situation.
Deputies quoted the Speaker as underlining the necessity to activate the work of the Parliament and the government, confirming his determination to convene a legislative session to endorse a bundle of urgent drafts.
