Candidacies for municipal, mukhtar elections have expired in Jbeil caza within the governorate of Mount Lebanon, at the count of 1349 candidates: 479 candidates running for mukhtar elections, and 930 candidates running for municipal elections; however, not a single municipality has reaped victory uncontested.
Those wishing to withdraw their candidacy have a deadline limit till Monday midnight.
