Cougar- Agreeing to apply income tax law to employee salaries instead of withholding

Baghdad Representative of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, declared that an agreement has been made to apply the income tax law to employees’ salaries instead of withholding.”

“The income tax law will include the salaries of all employees,” Cougar said in a televised statement.

He added, “It was agreed in principle to fix the price of a barrel of oil in the general budget at $ 45.”
