“Future” bloc member, Deputy Ahmad Fatfat, denied on Monday that “former Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, has discussed with diplomats and foreign ministers the name of a fifth candidate to the presidency post or any detailed affairs related to the internal Lebanese scene.”
Fatfat said that priority today would be to elect a president.
“We insist to attend all sessions unlike FPM and Hezbollah who fail to attend.”
The MP confirmed that his bloc still supported the nomination of Deputy Sleiman Franjieh to the presidency.
Fatfat told the “Voice of Lebanon” radio that “dialogue with Hezbollah is unproductive but disrupting it would fuel more tension in the country.”
