Future bloc voices rejection of refugee settlement

Future parliamentary bloc voiced, during its periodic meeting on Tuesday, utter rejection of any plan to secure the settlement of over one million Syrian refugees in Lebanon, asking UN Chief, Ban Ki-moon for clarifications regarding his fresh report in that respect.

In the beginning of their meeting, lawmakers condemned the killing of citizen Mohammad Hojeiry in Arsal earlier today, renewing sympathy with the family of army martyr Mohammad Hamieh.

Moreover, the bloc did not fail to blame Hezbollah for disrupting the election of a new president of the republic.

Conferees also welcomed the joint House committees venturing into producing a new election law, maintaining their call for a mixture of majoritarian and proportional vote systems.
