“Lebanese Forces” leader Samir Geagea met on Thursday at his Meerab residence with Jbeil Municipality head Ziad Hawat, with talks reportedly touching on the current political, touristic and economic situation.
The meeting underlined “the importance of pushing the economic situation forward by taking serious and effective steps, via easing the political and media discourse and shedding light instead on Lebanon’s breathtaking touristic sites characterizing the country. the matter which would promote the economic wheel at the current touristic season awaited by the Lebanese people.”
Hawat also briefed Geagea on the adopted plan to complete the development project for the area of Byblos over the next six years.
