Tripoli, Minister of Employment and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed discussed with EU Ambassador to Libya Jose Sabadell cooperation and coordination between the two sides in areas of common concern.
Al-Abed stressed that the European Union and Libya have advanced relations in several areas, including in the area of employment and rehabilitation file, reviewing the training and rehabilitation projects offered by the ministry to open up new prospects for young people to provide them with jobs that meet the requirements of the labour market.
The Minister also noted the cooperation to launch training projects and programs in partnership with the European Union, especially in the areas of non-traditional training such as digital jobs that provide employment opportunities for young people in various Libyan cities. For his part, the EU AMBASSADOR STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPPORTING THE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS THAT THE MINISTRY IS WORKING ON, TO PROVIDE JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR JOB SEEKERS. He also stressed that the EU will work on joint programs that will support training and rehabilitation for job seekers.
