Hajjar: Iran refuses to end presidency vacuum

“Future” parliamentary bloc member, MP Mohammad Al-Hajjar confirmed that his bloc will take part in the consecutive dialogue sessions provided that the suggestions to be discussed are under the constitution’s ceiling.

Hajjar told “Voice of Lebanon” radio that the difficult situation which Lebanon is undergoing results from the insistance of some parties on blocking the presidential elections.

“The west wants Lebanon to elect president but Iran refuses so far to release the presidency,” the MP said, adding that “the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia has no veto on the nomination of MP Michel Aoun as Hizbullah’s media claim to justify Iran’s disruption to this file.”
