Addressing a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Nizar Yazig in Tehran on Monday, Hashemi said Iran is ready to invest in medical projects in Syria and export vaccines to the war-hit Arab country via Pasture Institute of Iran and Razi Vaccine and Serum Research institute.

The Iranian minister added that unfortunately, 20 pharmaceutical companies in Syria have been devastated due to the war of militancy in the country, but thanks to mutual cooperation with Iran 16 of these companies have so far been reconstructed.

Since 2011, Syria has been faced with massive insurgency sparked by the certain Western countries and their regional allies that staged a propagandistic war against Damascus.
