HEALTH MINISTER SAYS HE HAS CALLED FOR ISOLATING TWO REGIONS AMID CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

March Minister of Public Health, Hamad Hassan, indicated that he had called for the isolation of two regions amid the coronavirus outbreak, in remarks made following a Cabinet session at Baabda palace on Thursday.

“For the first time I wear a mask, since danger has increased,” he said.

“I have requested the isolation of two regions where the highest rate of cases has been recorded,” he added.

He also revealed that several community spread cases of unknown origin had been detected.
