Presidential candidate, Member of Parliament, Henri Helou, said on Tuesday that the increasingly complicated situation in Lebanon was the result of conflict in interests.
“Rectifying the course of solutions requires steps to be made by the presidency post,” Helou said in a statement, stressing that the Lebanese presidency and the nation’s interests are more important than individuals “no matter who they are”.
He went on to warn from the ramifications of the escalating danger at the regional and international scenes.
“These dangers have been multiplying by the day at the social, security, economic, and even existential levels at the time that Lebanon suffers a frail structure that might collapse any time,” he added.
“Redirecting the nation’s compass requires action rather than mere words,” he added.
