Hout says stalling cabinet formation stems from desire to curb its strategic decisions

– Member of Parliament, Imad Hout, said on Tuesday that talks were underway en route to cabinet formation, stressing that Al-Jamaa Al-Islamiya was not represented by any specific political side, other than itself.

Moreover, interviewed by the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker blamed cabinet formation delay on some existing desires to control the state’s strategic decisions.

“Most political parties suffer the same problem with Hezbollah due to the party’s insistence to control the Lebanese state’s decision making,” he added.

However, Hout ruled out any possibility to make use of Aleppo’s victory in favor of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“There is a balance of forces that prohibits the exploitation of such victories in Syria,” he explained.
