Iraq, Lebanon Discuss The Problems And Difficulties Facing Iraqi Students In Lebanese Universities

Baghdad The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut, Haider Shia Al-Barrak, met the Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education Abbas Al-Halabi at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, the problems and difficulties facing Iraqi students in Lebanese universities were discussed and radical solutions were put in place to facilitate ways to complete their academic career.

The issue of extending the period of allowing students continuing to study to complete their files and equivalency of their certificates was also discussed, in addition to the issue of resuming the receipt and delivery of student certificates through the Liban post.

For his part, Minister Al-Halabi promised to discuss these topics during the meeting of the Higher Education Council, which will be held next week.
