Internal Security Forces (ISF) chief Ibrahim Basbous met on Tuesday at his Barrack office with outgoing US Charge d’affaire in Lebanon, Ambassador Richrad Jones, on the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
The meeting took place in the presence of Embassy Security Attaché Andrew Johnson.
Ambassador Jones hailed the achievements carried out by the ISF in combating crimes, particularly terrorism, bribery, corruption and human trafficking, as well as maintaining municipal elections’ security.
Major General Basbous, for his part, conferred upon the outgoing Ambassador a memorial shield as a token of appreciation on the end of his term of office in Lebanon.
