Army Commander, General Jean Kahwaji, met on Thursday at his Yarze office with British Chief of the Defense Staff, General Nicholas Houghton, on top of a delegation, and in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter.
Talks reportedly touched on military cooperation relations between the armies of both countries, and the implementation phases of the British aid program to the Lebanese army, notably in the area of land border-control.
On the other hand, General Kahwaji met respectively with MPs Bahiyya Hariri, Walid Sukkarieh and Kamel Rifai. Talks majorly dwelt on most recent developments on the local arena.
