Kataeb Party indicated on Monday that dialogue must keep Lebanon away from all-level deterioration, highlighting the necessity that parties’ leaders participate in this national meeting.
“Dialogue must prevent political, economic, and security deterioration, and guarantee the activation of the constitutional and democratic institutions,” the party’s politburo said in a statement following its weekly meeting, chaired by MP Sami Gemayel.
Conferees reminded of the obligation to abide by the Constitution, renewing calls to elect a new president “before anything else.”
Upon the National Army Day, Kataeb did not fail to hail the role assumed by the military.
