BEIRUT, — The Lebanese army on Thursday carried out a number of operations against Daesh terrorists in various areas bordering Syria, according to a security source.
The source told Petra’s reporter in Beirut that the forces raided the headquarters of the terrorist group in the Wadi al-Hosn area in Arsal’s outskirts, killing two and arresting another.
A Lebanese soldier was slightly injured during the contact and was evacuated for further treatment, the source noted.
Ammunition and weapons were seized during the offensive, added the source.
