Lebanese nationals arriving in busses from Syria on Tuesday have reached Abboudieh’s main border crossing with Syria within the framework of the third phase of the Lebanese state’s repatriation plan.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese General Security has taken all the necessary security and health measures put in place to reduce the risk of a Covid-19 outbreak, in the presence of a medical and nursing team from the Ministry of Health, and a team from the Lebanese Red Cross.

Body temperatures were examined and PCR tests were made for those entering Lebanon, provided that they implement mandatory preventive quarantine measures until the results of the PCR tests are out.

It is to note that 150 people are expected to enter Lebanon via land from Syria at this stage.
