Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, on Thursday said during a press conference, “My top priority is the health and medical care of the Internal Security Forces, and I do not accept that any security element suffers any injury without being able to be hospitalized or to provide medicine for his children and family. It is the state’s duty to secure all the rights of the security personnel.”
“The health and wellbeing of the security forces is a red line,” Minister Mawlawi underlined.
The Minister also pointed out that “107 million and 500 thousand dollars is the budget for the medical and hospitalization of the internal security forces’ elements, which must be secured in its actual value.”
He said, “I urge officials to assume their responsibilities in securing solutions.”
