New Delhi (dpa) – Trade, investment and energy top the agenda during
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to the United
Arab Emirates beginning Sunday.
Modi will be the first Indian prime minister to visit the UAE in 34
years. The country is home to 2.5 million Indians and an important
trading partner for India.
He is scheduled to hold talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum.
He is also scheduled to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and ICAD
Residential City, a camp for labourers from India, Pakistan,
Bangladesh and Nepal.
