The second stage of municipal and mukhtar elections has kicked off on Sunday in Mount Lebanon. Polling stations opened this morning before 834,768 voters amid stringent security measures by the Internal Security Forces and the Lebanese army, which will also be monitoring the electoral process in polling stations and on highways.
In the caza of Jbeil, 80600 voters will head to polling stations spread across the city of Jbeil Edde, Monsef, Mghayri, Mazarib and Arasta, Fatri, Ehmej, Hsarat, Laklouk, Hassoun, Mechmech, Nahr Ibrahim, Bachtlida and Fidar, Berbara, Afqa, Lehfed, Almat, McHan, Ghalboun, Bejjeh, Majdal, Akoura, Jaj, Ras Osta, Annaya and Kfarbaal, Mayfouk and Kottara, Halat, Blat, and Tartej Amchit.
In the caza of Kesrouan, the number of voters is 92,865 spread over Jounieh, Bzommar, Zouk Mosbeh, Zouk Mikael, Ain el Rihane, Safra, Jouret el Termos, Kfour, Ghineh, Yahchouch, Zeitoun, Faraya, Bkaatouta, Mayrouba, Feytroun , Kfardebian, Zeaitreh, Dlebta, Hassin, Hrajel, Okeybe, Tabarja and Kfaryassine, Kfarteih, Ghosta, Ajaltoun, Rayfoun, Kleiat, Achkout, Daroun-Harissa, Bouar, Ghazir, Wata el Joz, Adra, Ghbale, Bakaatit Kanaan, Jdeidit Ghazir -Harhraya and Kattin.
