MUSCAT: Implementing the call of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to diversify income resources and within the frameworks of public-private partnership, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organise a number of activities in teh next few days designed to boost the contribution of Omani private sector to the GDP. At the same time it also aims to attract local and foreign investments, and establish investment and trade partnership with other international business communities and companies.
The chamber is keen exploit the stability and excellence of Oman-Iran relations to improve the economic relations between the two countries. It aims take advantage of the great potentials of Irani markets to increase trade exchanges between the two countries in order to reflect the strategic vision of 2015. It will focus on large and promising markets for Omani products and to raise the trade exchange level with them to bring economic development for the country.
This will empower various categories of companies in private sector to find new tools of growth and development.
During the last period the chamber intensified its attention to activate the trade and investment works and to hold business meetings and visit Iran.
The chamber is leading a 60-member trade delegation, comprising representatives of various sectors and government, to the Iran.
