“Future” bloc member, Jean Ogassapian said on Wednesday that “issues are heading to holding the parliamentary elections based on the 1960 law”.
He told the “Voice of Lebanon” radio that the joint committees have convened more than six sessions and have failed to reach any agreement on the electoral law.
The MP said that the sole solution would be to elect a president in order to revive the constitutional institutions.
“All files are pending and corruption files are increasing in light of the absence of accountability,” he concluded.
