Member of Parliament, Jean Ogassapian, said on Tuesday that the Lebanese presidential file was not in the hands of Bkerki but in those of Iran and Hezbollah.
“The whole matter is linked to the Syrian axis, not the Lebanese interior,” he said in an interview accorded to the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
The lawmaker reiterated the Future Bloc’s decision not to veto any presidential nominee; however, he said that his political party still supported Marada Movement Leader, Sleiman Frangieh’s presidential candidacy.
On another level, Ogassapian lauded the joint efforts of the Lebanese apparatuses preserving security all across Lebanon. He stressed the substantial need provide security institutions with a political umbrella, as well as moral and financial support.
