Pharaon confirms no Gulf ban on Lebanon visit

Minister of Tourism, Michel Pharaon, indicated on Tuesday that Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awadh Asseri, had told him neither Saudi Arabia nor the Gulf had banned their citizens from visiting Lebanon, highlighting the necessity to provide their security and comfort.

“We hope that the summer season would be a success, thanks to the efforts of the civil society that is defending civilization and legacy,” he said.

Pharaon made these remarks during a press conference held jointly with MP Strida Geagea, at Le Royel Hotel in Dbayeh, to launch the 2nd edition of Arz International Festivals.
