PROTESTERS BLOCK TRIPOLI, MINIYEH, AKKAR HIGHWAY IN BOTH DIRECTIONS

A group of angry protesters, including men and women, on Friday blocked Tripoli, Miniyeh, and Akkar International Highway in both directions, reaching the Syrian border at Mankoubin and Al-Nour square intersection, in objection against the deteriorating daily living conditions, our reporter said.

They set rubber tires ablaze and chanted slogans against the devastating living circumstances that they’ve been enduring due to the general lockdown, which has left countless households jobless and without income.
