PSM honours well-renowned Pak journalist Mujeeb ur Rehman

MUSCAT: Well-known Pakistani journalist and chief editor of Daily Pakistan Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami was honoured by the management of Pakistan School Muscat in the newly constructed Allama Iqbal library of PSM.

Atta Ullah Niazi, Senior Principal of Pakistan School Systems hosted the programme.
Former chairman of PSM Javaid Nawaz took the opportunity to give the honorary introduction to the distinguished guests.

Later, a comprehensive sketch of Shami’s personality was presented by Atya Ghani ,a senior teacher from Urdu Department of PSM.

Dr Tahir Hakeem, Dean of Sharia and Law, Islamic International University Islamabad (IIUI), gave a detailed pack of information with regard to students and departments. He concluded his note by inviting students from Oman for admissions in IIUI.

Mujeeb ur Rehman in his address spoke about Pakistan on the recent counts. Few members of overseas Pakistani community put forth few concerns that were dealt in satisfactorily.

Chairman BoDs Adnan Shahzad expressed his gratitude to the visiting journalist for his presence among Pakistani community in Oman. Adnan Shahzad along with attaché Pakistan Embassy Naveed Atif presented a souvenir to Mujeeb.
