Salam: Cabinet is committed to development of Lebanon’s capacity despite all crises around us

Prime Minister, Tammam Salam said on Friday “despite all the crises around us, the government is committed to fulfill its obligations and to develop Lebanon’s capacity amid all kinds of threats and risks”.

His remarks came at the conclusion of the training of the National Chamber of operations for disaster risk management at the Grand Serail.

The PM congratulated all the participants in the training, hoping to intensify coordination among all the concerned sides.

Separately, the PM sponsored on Friday the signing of the “Bill of ethical principles for Scientific Research in Lebanon,” which was held at the invitation of the National Council for Scientific Research, in the presence of Minister of Environment, Mohamed Mashnouk, Industry Minister, Hussein Hajj Hassan, Information Minister, Ramzi Jreij and scientific, cultural and media figures.

Salam praised the efforts exerted by the National Council for Scientific Research and the level of university education, particularly the Lebanese university.
