Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, met on Tuesday afternoon at the Grand Serail with a delegation of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, with talks reportedly dwelling on the general situation and Palestinian refugees’ affairs in Lebanon.
Speaking to media representatives on emerging, Front Politburo member Ali Faisal said that the visit comes in the context of deliberating with the Premier over the most recent developments at all levels, underlining the Palestinian people’s solidarity with the Lebanese people in the fight against terrorism targeting civilians.
Faisal considered that the best response to what is currently taking place lies in the solidarity amongst all the Lebanese and cementing their ranks in a bid to thwart any attempt to tamper with the country’s security and stability march.
“In this context, we renewed emphasis that the Palestinians in Lebanon are a factor of stability and keen on the march of security in Lebanon,” Faisal said, indicating that they are making great efforts to ensure the stability of the camps and the strengthening of relations with their surroundings.
On the other hand, Premier Salam met with a delegation of Private Hospitals’ Owners Syndicate, led by Syndicate dean Sleiman Haroun, with talks reportedly touching on relevant hospitalization and arrears affairs.
