Sea ambulance service launched in Musandam

KHASAB: The sea ambulance service was launched at the Khasab Port under the auspices of Sayyid Khalifa bin Al Mardas al Buasidy, Governor of Musandam, yesterday. The launch was attended by Dr Darwish bin Saif al Muharbi, Under-Secretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Health, walis, the representative of the Wilayat of Liwa at the Majlis Ash’shura, military officers, government officials and a crowd of people.

300224Nasser bin Saif al Saadi, Director-General, Directorate General of Health Services in Musandam Governorate, gave a speech in which he said the project will meet the health needs of the people of Mussadam Governorate, adding that the total cost of the project is RO 750,000.
It comprises 4 ambulance boats equipped with medical equipment and two boats for transportation of employees and medicines and other equipment. The project is part of a package of medical services in Musandam Governorate which comes in implementation of His Majesty’s directives.
