Sources: There Is Proposal In Parliament That MPs Feedback To Their Constituencies After Members Failed To Agree On Budget And Election Of President Of State Draft Laws.

Tripoli, 3 August 2021(Lana) Parliamentary sources told the Libyan news agency that in view of failure of the House to reach agreement, at Monday and Tuesday meeting, to agree on the draft budget law and the election of president of state, the issue was put off until next week’s meeting on Monday and Tuesday.

 

The sources said a proposal was circulating at the House that MPs discuss with their constituents over the draft law for election of president of state and report back to the House in next week’s meeting about the required amendments and proposals on the draft law.

 

The sources indicated that MPs were leave for their constituencies on Tuesday and will return to Tobruk for next week’s meeting.
