The Chargé d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Lebanon: Two Iraqi citizens were infected with Corona virus

Baghdad  The Chargé d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Lebanon, Amin Al-Nasrawi, confirmed today, Tuesday, the infection of two Iraqi citizens with the new Corona virus, in Lebanon.

Al-Nasrawi said in a press statement the Embassy has confirmed that an Iraqi citizen living in southern Lebanon has been infected with the Corona virus, and that “the infected is under the current house quarantine, and is in stable condition.”

Al-Nasrawi added that “another case was recorded of an Iraqi tourist who was infected while he was in Lebanon, and who left for Iraq after informing the official authorities of his condition.”

He continued that the Iraqi Embassy is in full contact with the community via the Embassy phones during working hours or via the hotline,” calling for “everyone’s commitment to health guidelines.”
