The Civil Defense extinguishes a fire in Al-Mansour and saves Bangladeshi workers

Baghdad  Nine firefighting and rescue teams from the Civil Defense Directorate managed to put out a fire that broke out in the / Hollywood / commercial complex on the first floor of a four-storey building in the Mansour district in Baghdad.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy of it, said that the civil defense cast the ladder wheel designated for high-rise dual-use buildings (extinguishing / rescuing) so that its teams can rescue the Bangladeshi workers trapped in the fire.”

He added: “The firefighting teams carried out the cordon, confinement and isolation of the fire, then the direct incursion into the burning floor in order to be able to control and extinguish the fire completely in a record time, preventing human casualties from being recorded while minimizing material losses.”

A forensic expert has been called in to investigate the causes of the fire.
