Baghdad The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, which is negotiating with the federal government, headed by Qubad Talabani, deputy head of the regional government, confirmed that discussions with Baghdad are continuing until a constitutional agreement is reached.
This came, according to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website, during the meeting of the PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today, with the delegation negotiating with the federal government on the issues of oil and the federal budget for 2021.
In the meeting which was attended by the deputy head of the regional government and head of the negotiating delegation, Qubad Talabani, the latest developments regarding the course of talks with the federal government were presented.
The negotiating delegation indicated that the discussions with the federal government are continuing, with the aim of reaching an agreement that guarantees the rights and financial dues for the Kurdistan region under the constitution.”
It is scheduled, according to the site, that the negotiating delegation will return to Baghdad next week to resume talks with the federal government.
