MUSCAT: The seventh edition of The Treasures of Oman exhibition concluded its show in Nizwa.
Organised by the Animal and Plant Genetic Resources Centre at The Research Council (TRA), the exhibition began a tour across the Sultanate in March and will run till the end of this month. It seeks to draw attention to the Sultanate’s flora and fauna wealth as well as the marine species.
The Treasures of Oman roadshow was inaugurated last month by Dr Ali bin Saud al Bimani, President of Sultan Qaboos University and Dr Hilal al Hinai, Secretary-General of The Research Council. Carried to each of its destinations on a uniquely designed, adapted and decorated truck, the roadshow has four fun-filled sections, one each for the animals, plants, marine life and microbes.
