The United Arab Emirates’ Embassy in Beirut has canceled the reception on the occasion of UAE’s 48th National Day, which falls on Dec 2, due to the current situation.
“In view of the exceptional circumstances endured by Lebanon, the Embassy has decided to cancel the reception on the occasion of the UAE’s 48th National Day, which falls on the 2nd of December each year,” UAE Embassy said in a statement on Monday.
“On this national occasion, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Hamad Al Shamsi, offered warmest congratulations and blessings to the UAE leadership and Emirati people,” statement said.
Ambassador Shamsi wished Lebanon and the brotherly Lebanese people stability and prosperity.
